Roadway and street luminaires for municipal, highway, arterial, and residential roads. LED Street Light Available as integrated bodies or modular designs with tool-less driver access. Designed to meet EN 13201 roadway classes from ME1 through P4.
Wattage: 30W / 50W / 60W / 80W / 100W / 120W / 150W / 180W / 200W / 240W / 300W. Modular models go higher. For reference, 100W covers most 2–4 lane collector roads at 8–10 meter mounting height.
Input: AC 100–277V, 50/60 Hz standard. 200–480V available — common in North American roadway circuits and some Middle East infrastructure.
Efficacy: ≥ 150 lm/W standard, ≥ 160 lm/W PRO. PRO uses tighter-binned LEDs and gets another 10 lm/W. The PRO pays for itself in energy savings within 3–4 years at typical municipal electricity rates, assuming 12-hour nightly operation.
CRI: ≥ 70 standard, ≥ 80 or ≥ 90 on request. CRI 70 is the industry norm for roadway — you're identifying objects, not judging color. Bump to 80 if the street is also a pedestrian retail zone. 90 is unusual for street lights but we can do it if your tender requires it.
CCT: 3000K / 4000K / 5000K. 4000K is the current default for most municipal projects. 3000K is gaining traction in residential areas and dark-sky-ordinance zones (warmer CCT = less blue content = less skyglow). Some US municipalities now mandate 3000K max.
Light distribution: IESNA Type II / Type III / Type III-M (medium) / Type IV / Type V. These are achieved through interchangeable lens arrays inside the housing. Type II is for narrow roads and bike paths (throw about 1.5× mounting height laterally). Type III for standard 2–4 lane roads. Type III-M for wider arterials with a median. Type IV throws forward — good for intersections and parking lots where you mount on one side. Type V is symmetrical 360° for plazas and roundabouts.
IP rating: IP65 luminaire overall, IP67 driver compartment. The driver sits in its own sealed sub-enclosure with a separate gasket, so even if the main housing seal eventually leaks, the driver stays dry.
IK rating: IK08 standard, IK10 on request with a reinforced housing.
Housing: ADC12 die-cast aluminum, powder coated. Standard colors: grey, black, dark green. Custom RAL on request with MOQ.
Lens: UV-stabilized optical-grade polycarbonate, ≥ 92% transmittance. The PC grade matters — cheap PC lenses yellow within 3–5 years and lumen output drops independent of LED depreciation.
Mounting: Side-entry for spigots ø42–60 mm, or post-top for ø60–76 mm. Adjustable tilt ±15° so you can level the luminaire regardless of the pole arm angle. A surprising number of street lights get installed tilted because the installer didn't adjust the spigot angle — the tilt adjustment fixes this.
Surge protection: 10 kV (L-N + L-PE combined) standard on all models. This isn't optional — street lights get hit by line surges from nearby lightning strikes far more often than direct hits. 20 kV available for lightning-prone regions and critical infrastructure.
Windage: ≤ 0.10 m² up to 150W, ≤ 0.18 m² up to 300W. Important for pole structural loading calculations. If your pole supplier needs the exact EPA (Effective Projected Area) for a specific model and mounting angle, we'll provide it.
LED chips: Philips Lumileds standard and PRO. Bridgelux or Osram on request. We default to Lumileds for street lights because their lumen maintenance data at elevated temperatures is among the best in the industry, and street light thermal environments are harsh.
Driver: Meanwell XLG/HLG series standard. MOSO or Inventronics on request for cost optimization of large programs. The driver compartment is accessible without tools on the modular models — undo two latches and it swings open. This matters when a maintenance crew is doing 50 poles in a shift.
Dimming: Non-dim, 0-10V, DALI-2, 1–10V, or power-line dimming. Most municipal projects use either no dimming (just on/off via photocell) or a simple schedule-based dimming in the driver. DALI-2 is trending upward for smart city deployments where the central management system controls per-fixture output.
Smart control: NEMA 7-pin socket (ANSI C136.41, also called Zhaga Book 18) on top of the housing — the industry standard interface for plug-in photocells and wireless nodes. We ship with a shorting cap if you're not using the socket. Integrated NB-IoT or LoRaWAN available instead of external node.
Power factor: ≥ 0.95 at full load. THD < 10%.
L70: ≥ 50,000 hrs at Tc 75°C for standard, ≥ 100,000 hrs for PRO (Lumileds LEDs + Meanwell driver, verified TM-21 projection from ≥ 10,000 hr LM-80 data).
Operating temp: -40°C to +50°C. Tested at both ends. The -40°C cold start matters for Northern Europe, Canada, and high-altitude installations where drivers need to fire up without hesitation.
Breather valve: M12 stainless steel on every unit — equalizes pressure as the fixture heats and cools without pulling moist air through the gaskets. This is one of those $2 components that doubles the effective seal life, and we put it on every outdoor fixture by default.
Wiring: Pre-wired with H05RN-F 3×1.0 mm² rubber cable, 600 mm lead. Custom lengths available — if you need 2 meters to reach a junction box inside the pole, just tell us.
Flicker: < 5% per IEEE 1789 low-risk classification. For roadway, this isn't a safety issue — it's a comfort issue for residents whose bedroom windows face the street.
Warranty: 3 years standard, 5 years PRO, 7 years PRO + Meanwell.
Certifications: CE, RoHS, CB. ENEC on request. EN 13201 photometric compliance documentation available. ISTMT (in-situ thermal measurement test) reports on request. DLC for North American projects on select models.
