For a warehouse of that size with 8-meter ceilings, LED high bay lights (UFO-style) at 150W with a 90° beam angle are the typical starting point. Space them on a 5–6 meter grid and you'll get around 200–250 lux on the floor — enough for general warehousing with forklift traffic. If you have picking zones where staff read labels, bump those areas to 300–500 lux. Don't light the whole 5,000 sqm at one level — zone it by activity. Also, if your warehouse has racking, consider Type III distribution lenses that throw light into the aisle rather than straight down. We cover this in detail in our warehouse lighting guide.
